Hi there, I’m Alexandra!
At Luckwitz Lifestyle Photography, I specialize in capturing real, unposed moments that reflect the heart of a person, a family, or a season of life. I aim to tell stories through images that feel authentic, honest, and a little bit magical.
I’m most known for my ability to create a relaxed, natural environment where people can just be - no forced smiles, no stiff poses. Just connection, movement, and the little in-between moments that often go unnoticed but mean everything later on.
I take the time to get to know the people in front of my lens. I’m not just snapping photos - I’m helping you freeze a moment in time that you’ll look back on years from now and say, “That’s exactly how it felt.”
As a Cleveland Heights native and a mom of two, I know how quickly time moves, and how precious the little things are. Whether we’re documenting a milestone or just an ordinary day that deserves to be celebrated, I’ll be there to capture it as it unfolds—honest, unposed, and uniquely you.
Make Your Move.
Book a photography session and let my lens capture the essence of your story.

What is it like to work with you?
I’m gentle throughout the session and I’m great at making sure we’re staying honest to your goals and our time. I’m a mom and I worked in the corporate world for 15 years before I went full-time with my business, so I can handle chaos and wrangling smiles.
I’m the type of person to have a leaf blower in the trunk of my car in case the church steps need to be dusted off. I’ve been known to bring bubbles for sessions with kiddos prone to distractions and tennis balls to keep your furry friend’s eyes on the prize.
-
What type of clients do you take on?
I love documenting every part of life - from couples to engagements to weddings to newborns and families. So bring on the crazy family reunions or kiddos that need to move their bodies! I also love when clients bring their dogs to sessions - just let me know when you’re booking so I can ensure that the location permits animals.
-
Are there sessions you won't book?
Yes. I do not document boudoir photography, automotive photography, concert photography, or birth photography - but I do provide fresh 48 photography in a hospital or nursery after birth.
If you are looking for any of the above, I have some excellent partners in the NEO area that provide these services.
-
What happens after I book?
I’ll take a look at the booking and if there are time-sensitive questions, such as location hours, then I will be in touch within 24 hours.
If your booking is clear for takeoff, I’ll send you an email about 24 hours before your scheduled session to confirm the little details, such as parking and weather.
-
When will I receive the gallery?
It depends on what type of session you purchase. Minis and 30-minute sessions have a turnaround of about 1 week. Longer sessions are 1-2 weeks. Weddings and special events have a turnaround of up to 4 weeks. If you need your images expedited, just let me know and I can give you and update on where you fall in the queue.
-
Are you open to celebrations of all kinds/faiths?
Yes. I believe every story deserves to be celebrated. I proudly support and welcome LGBTQ+, body diversity, neurodiverse clients, and people of all backgrounds, faiths, and traditions. I’d be honored to tell your story, your way.
-
Will our photos be retouched?
Your session includes minor retouching. This does not include anything that would change the nature of who you are.
My rule of thumb is typically items that will be gone within 2 weeks or are temporary will be removed (acne, acne pitting, minor scars, cuts, scrapes, bandaids, bubble gum in mouth, dirt, spit up, etc.) If there is something you would like addressed ahead of your gallery delivery, just reach out.
-
What rights do I have to my photographs?
Upon delivery of your photos, you maintain full rights for personal use. You may not sell or use the images for profit unless you obtain written consent from Luckwitz Lifestyle Photography.
So go ahead and order that holiday card or engagement announcement - they’re yours.
-
What rights do you have to my photographs?
On my standard release, I reserve the right to use images taken during sessions for promotion. This includes, but is not limited to, blog content, social media campaigns, newsletters, competitions, and other marketing endeavors.
-
Do you have to post my photos online?
No. Most of my business is family photography, and if a client has a preference to maintain privacy, just let me know via email so I can update the photo release/contract ahead of booking.
I can also provide “private, not secret” photos during your session, where a child’s face may be fully obscured or other details are focused on, like holding hands, feet in puddles, etc.
-
Do you send me every image?
When it comes to gallery delivery, a good rule of thumb is about one shot for every minute that we’re photographing. Depending on how your session goes, I may over deliver - they’re your memories, I’m not going to gatekeep them! No additional purchase fees apply to standard sessions.
Mini sessions (10 minutes with 10 final images) typically have an extended gallery available for purchase.
I do not release my RAW files.
-
How long do you keep my photographs?
Your gallery will be online for 30 days after delivery. I encourage you to download and store all of the images from your session upon receipt.
I maintain a back up archive of photographs for one year from the date of the session, so if something happens to your downloaded files, please reach out. Depending on the gallery size, there may be an additional fee to rehost your files.
-
What if it rains or snows?
Weather can create some challenges - as well as some triumphs! It’s entirely your call if we proceed with the session, provided we work within the cancellation policy.
Please keep in mind that some locations have entrance fees or rental fees (permits, land usage, etc.) that may be lost if the session is cancelled. We’ll take this on a case-by-case basis.
-
Can you help me find a location that fits my vision?
Yes. I love scouting out some of our local gems and sharing them with my clients. If you’re looking to capture art deco ambiance (The Cleveland Arcade), a stroll with an ice cream cone (The Popcorn Shop at Chagrin Falls), or a meadow full of butterflies (Tallgrass Prairie) - I’m your person. Just let me know during booking if you’re unsure about a location and I’ll reach out with some options to consider.
-
Do you offer studio sessions?
At this time, I only offer studio sessions as special one-offs/minis during the winter/spring holiday season.
I provide in-home or on-location photography services year-round.
-
Do you offer custom sessions?
Yes. Every session is going to be unique to you and your vision. Some clients come to the booking with a creative direction in mind - and it could be as simple as a stroll through the park with your loved ones, or as complex as a styled session with rented props/vehicles.
I love a creative challenge, so feel free to reach out to me and we’ll find a way to make your vision a reality.
-
What happens if we go over the booked time?
I do not stack my standard sessions, which allows for flexibility with the day. Depending on how large your group is and how much more time is needed, I typically offer a 10-minute buffer to wrap up the shots. If we need more time, I can extend the session based on my hourly rate. The overage would be billed to you after your session and would be discussed and authorized by you before the extension.
-
What type of props do you provide?
I offer a limited number of spots for styled mini sessions throughout the year. These sessions would be advertised with the props/florals you would expect to see on the day of your session.
Custom styled sessions may have prop rental fees on top of the booking fee. I encourage you to reach out and share your vision for a custom quote.
I do not provide cakes for cake smash sessions - but I will provide baby wipes for the clean up!
-
Do you offer surprise engagements/events?
Yes. I love playing along to capture authentic moments. We can play it however you like! Surprise proposals, surprise parties - bring me along and I’ll help make it happen.
-
Can we do multiple locations and outfit changes?
It depends on the session length and primary location. When scouting locations for clients, I’m considering factors such as diversity of backgrounds, access to restrooms for changing, and how much time it takes on foot to move throughout the space.
A general rule of thumb is that a partial outfit change (taking off a jacket, glasses or loosening a tie) is possible in a 30-minute session and a full outfit change (2 outfits total) is possible in a 1-hour session.
-
Do you provide recommendations on what time of day to book a session?
Yes. I recommend all outdoor sessions to avoid the high-noon hour. Softer light is found at the beginning and end of the day. Indoor sessions can be documented at all times and I would supplement lighting as needed with a softbox or on camera flash.
Outdoor sessions at noon are possible with the right location and light conditions. I may opt to compensate with flash - so please keep this in mind if your party has young children or people with sensitivity to light.
If you’re unsure what time to book, just reach out. -
Do you have to charge location fees?
Some locations have rental fees or permit requirements. I do not up-charge location fees - 100% of that fee goes to the location owner. If there is a special location you would like to use, please reach out to me and I’ll look into their requirements.
For some locations, I’m able to spread the location fee across multiple bookings. I run mini session promotions and half-day promotions several times a year - so sign up for my email list to be in the know!
-
What if I have to move my session?
Life sometimes gets in the way - I get it. I’ll work with you to find a reasonable date that works for both of us, the location, and the weather (if outdoors).
We can move your session once before it falls under a cancellation.
This does not apply to newborn or fresh 48 bookings. Babies come when they decide and we most likely will move your booking after your delivery to better accommodate when you’re ready for visitors, your little one’s schedule, and hospital visitation hours.
-
Do you charge extra for more images?
The only time I offer additional images for a fee is during mini session promotions. Mini sessions are priced for a delivery of 10 images (included in your purchase). Additional images are available to purchase directly through my portal.
There is no obligation to purchase additional images. Take a look at a mini gallery here.
-
Do you offer financing?
Yes. At checkout, there will be an option for Klarna and Affirm. For wedding packages, we can also build a payment schedule once the deposit has been secured. Payment in full is required before every session type takes place. Deposits are required to secure dates for wedding packages or full-day special events.

If we've worked together, I'd be so grateful if you'd share your experience.
